I remember being bored out of my mind, having nothing to do, just laying there in my air-conditioned family room, laying on the floor, looking up, trying to count how many times the ceiling fan went around every minute, looking at all of the pictures in every word book encyclopedia, trying to fill up all of that time.

Now, I can’t get a second to collect my thoughts without getting inturrupted.

I wish I could be bored again.
