Simplicity
Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is a nobler art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of nonessentials.

I have a friend who lives an extremely simple life with very few possessions by American standards and she is well among the happiest people I know.

I don’t mind leaving things undone as long as I don’t have an obligation to someone else to get that thing done. I don’t like clutter, in things and in obligations. Thats one of the reasons why I turned down the last calling that was offered me. I would rather spend my free time with my family. The rest is not important to me and I don’t want to be obligated to do things that don’t help me meet my goals.
Excellent quote. First time I’ve seen it.
